The new 2024 CX-30 and CX-50 sport distinct exteriors tailored to their drivers' needs. The smaller former has LED lights, including automatic headlights and a rear spoiler. Meanwhile, the latter offers a power liftgate, a panoramic moonroof, roof rails, and automatic headlights.

2024 Mazda CX-30 Interior Comfort and Cargo Space

Interior Comfort and Cargo Space

The new CX-30 features cloth upholstery and heated front seats, an eight-way manual driver's seat and a four-way manual passenger's seat.

In contrast, the latest CX-50 boasts leatherette-trimmed upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats with three settings. It elevates driver comfort with a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat, including power lumbar support.

Performance Features

Both vehicles share the same powertrains, the 2.5-litre Skyactiv-G and its turbocharged variant. The smaller vehicle gets more power, with 191 horsepower on the naturally aspirated one, compared to the 187 horsepower on the CX-50. The torque output is 186 lb-ft for both models.

It’s the opposite with the turbocharged engine. CX-30 gets 250 horsepower, while the bigger CX-50 model boasts 256 horsepower. Again, we see the same torque, 320 lb-ft, for both.

The fuel economy for the smaller model is 9.0 L/100 km in the city and 7.1 L/100 km on the highway. The bigger one gets as low as 9.7 L/100 km in the city and on the highway, 7.9 L/100 km.

Safety and Driver Assistance Features

The CX-30 features Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and a wide-angle rearview camera for awareness. It also includes a Dynamic Stability Control and Traction Control System for stability.

Mazda CX-50 adds a Smart City Brake Support Front for low-speed collision avoidance, along with Mazda Radar Cruise Control with a Stop & Go function for highway safety and convenience.
